Luv you Lucky

These days Mohit Chauhan is the voice of allthe popular hits like Rock on.... n New York 'tu ne jo na kaha'. Don't know how to connect but his voice n style reminds me of you Lucky.I remember of having heard you last was only in a kind of not so popular Ahista Ahista from a Ranbir Kapoor's flick. But I also remember huge, great articles on you in TOI Sunday Life magazine.... I associated the sweet dulcet sound adjective only to your voice ans songs since then. It shows still a big fan of yours da.........But I have a feeling these dez the place [n not a peak] that you had created for yourself is taken over by some new entries in a very natural yet unusual way...

I like them all but miss your music. I kno the music industry also goes on the formula of main pal do pal ka shayar hoon. But your fans still look forward to your swan song yaar. I am sure you haven't given your the best and can still put up a fight and show your metal. Waiting for the lucky shine all over again.......

Nilekani Vs Laloo

The Infosys guy quits the company job to start this mega project to give us all Indians a unique ID. Laloo is still in politics just because some unexplainable snags of our election rules where same guy can contest from two places. Well it acted like a savior for Laloo.
A newspaper quotes Nilekani where he jokingly says he lost his identity…….And Laloo sounds helpless having lost Railway Ministry to Mamata. At least she has goals to reach…. Like get the Bengal’s CM’s kursi.
Laloo complains of things not being the same and not going good… Well! For 15 yrs things were going gr8 in a state that almost had a state of anarchy.
We don’t even exactly know the motivations of Nilekani having taken this ID business with govt….But it seems to work against the menace of false identity.
Who would you like to read about - the RJD supremo who only brought glory to himself through hilarious catchy statements or the guy who made his deeds speak for himself so far?

A Movie Experience……

This movie was left unseen in the downloads, asusual waiting for a train journey. But it happened so, it was long forgotten as well. Luckily, today I watched it in train and co-passengers in my compartment seemed to be interested in watching a must watch but a very unpopular movie.

‘Ramchand Pakistani’ claims to be talking about a true story of an innocent kid and his father from Pakistan who are taken as prisoner by Indian Army just for crossing the border. As the disclaimer said, the characters were sketched with an unbeatable honesty. With every scene I feared if a difficult-to watch gory or violent thingie would crop up. But the ‘respect for the truth’ of the filmmaker made it least sensational and the most impactful story. It triggered a lot of questions and curiosity about border issues in the minds of the viewers through the movie and left us with a positive end but a senti feeling.

Hats off to Nandita Das , I respect her professional work. Reminds me of an idea in Bhagvad Gita which says such devoted tasks turn out to be inspirational for all others who even passively get to know it.

World Knowledge

Don’t know which world are they talking about when they say it’s part of the world knowledge. I wonder if all our worlds are the same. We have seen our own set of the world and dream of our favourite possible world. Of course there can be lots of common entities and concepts existing in these any of such two worlds but they are not exactly same ever. And then, this wonder of the wonders …..something called IMAGINATION rules all our minds. It [imagination] has so far ruled our civilization and no wonder will do so forever.
Then do you think it’s all in the knowledge. Don’t tell me imagination came first and then knowledge. Some critics would call it a mere exaggeration ‘coz how can imagination occur without some already existing knowledge. It’s like one can’t dream of something that one knows not at all.
But… but…there’s the rub! How do you think the knowledge come into existence on it’s own without imagination giving it some food for thought and grounds of growth.
May b they are interdependent! May b it boils down to a chicken and egg problem! Whatever the case be, the substratum of this brewing up off world knowledge seems to have looooooooots of variations. And add to this the difference in the variety of experiences each one of us are exposed to.
If that be the case, how varying can this ‘world knowledge get’!

Humming!!!!!!

Don’t know why humming bird is called so…. Probably this creature enjoys humming more than singing or listening to music. Taking this statement to be totally imaginary and based on no authentic data or theory, the idea of humming solely is the topic of this write up.

Off late I was bored listening to music and working. No the music was not the reason. It was my over-dependence on music to enliven up my spirits all the time and repetition in excess of this practice had such drastic result.

But for good! I have switched over to humming……….

Oh it’s so good! Ur mind can remember them all so well and it’s better than all playlists because it plays exactly the one song you want J

Ya….. and then the memory helped me enjy the music so well. I cud dance, snap, whistle to the tunes…..the nature, the silence or say the ordinary decibels of the day n night did not disturb me at all…

How soothing and refreshing can it be…..Like a Karaoke that only you can hear and the lyrics 2 with the same dulcet sweet voice of the singer…..

One of the amazing capabilities of our brain I guess!!!!

Non-native speakers

It’s like endorsing the product which does not belong to you, you belong to it though…… when one learns a foreign language the process is incomplete without delving deep into the language, culture and literature [to some extent] with enough motivation to relish them all. How is it possible then one gains THE proficiency which a community has in the name of mother tongue? Well! That’s difficult to explain….
But yet there are so many people who irrespective of their age show interest in learning a language and enjoy it. There must be some motivation…. The question is why attempt to learn something which will always be attested by somebody who may or may not care to know your language with equal zeal.
The advantage of knowing an extra foreign language may get you a place in public or private sector but this cannot be the only motivation for learning a new language. When one starts with deciding on learning something one also needs to choose why that particular language and not any of the others? Honestly, I do believe a small mole can make you turn to a language and be stuck with it all your life 
And then, going on with – Beginning z sweet, you love it. But gradually the pace seems to fast… you try slogging putting your heart and soul into it! But hey, not all of us have learning language as the only assignment. How depressing it can get… u cannot converse in the language like a dumb student…. While listening your head goes for a toss…. You are famous among your friends fr learning a ‘phoren’ tongue but you know deep down your heart you are miserable….
By the way!! This you z only fr me as it is a conversation with myself…. In the process if one identifies with such experience please don’t take it personally as it’s equally personal experience for me 2 ;)
These days the scenario is very simple… the self is very modest to admit the ignorance of the language that I have spent time with for 4 yrs approx. but the carrying on factor is the heart which has already started enjoying the company and the worldview through this language.
What should be the aim now? A competence that makes a learner capable enough not only to be able to communicate or say express in the language but also to be confident enough to accept that luk this is not your language and everytime it would be a learning experience, which z not actually different from growing in one’s mother tongue.
So, the problem boils down to nothing. Learn! n Enjoy!
